Edit: Went back as promised, added photos! And we got even MORE delicious food this time. The vegetarian kofta were so tender, and the lamb appetizer was too (not pictured, again gone too fast)! We also tried the makhani and biryani, two different spice levels, but both SO good. The mango chicken is still the overall favorite! Original post: Ate too fast to take nice photos, but we'll be back for round two and we'll get some then! We got the mango chicken and the tikka masala at medium spice levels and they were spiced SO perfectly. The chicken was tender and both were piping hot. The mango was our favorite! We also got samosas and aloo tikki for appetizers, and they were also seasoned beautifully. We can't wait to come back and try more!

What a wonderful find! We tried the Dum Biryani, Lamb Shank Nihari, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken 65, Lamb Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chilli Chicken, Malai Boti, Talawa Gosht, butter Maan , lacha paratha and Mango Lassi everything was delicious and felt very close to authentic Hyderabadi flavors. As someone missing my hometown, this meal brought back great memories. The Dum Biryani and Nihari were especially outstanding. We also tried the Hakka Noodles, Onion Pakora, and Chicken Soup, which were ok as well. The menu is extensive, the spice level can be customized to your preference, and the restaurant offers a great mix of North and South Indian dishes. Meeting the owner was a pleasure he was humble, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the food. A true hidden gem in Rochester. Highly recommended, and wishing the team continued success!

Wanted to try a new spot near us. Everything was amazing. The smells and the flavors, so many different options to choose from. Can't wait to go back. Oh yeah. Lots of food and the price was great

Absolutely amazing experience at Mughals TajMahal Authentic Indo Pak Cuisine! The food here is truly next level and one of the best Hyderabadi, Indian, Pakistani & Asian food spots we have tried in the area. We had the Malai Kofta, Hyderabadi Mirchi Ka Salan, Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani and Raita — every single dish was bursting with authentic flavor, served fresh, hot, and in great quantity. The biryani was perfectly cooked with rich Hyderabadi taste, the Mirchi Ka Salan was outstanding, and the Malai Kofta was creamy, delicious, and full of flavor. Everything was simply mind blowing! What makes this place even more special is that it is owner operated, and the owner himself is the chef — and you can truly taste the passion in every bite. The whole team was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Food was served very quick and piping hot. They also customize the spice level exactly how you like it, which is perfect for everyone. This place is absolutely worth every penny. When we first visited this place, the food was really good, so we came back 2–3 more times. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. when we asked for spicy chicken noodles, it was bland and asked them if they can modify it because it doesn't have any flavor. This time, instead of adding proper flavor, they just overloaded the dish with chillies and even served extra chillies on the side. We tried to explain calmly, but nothing improved. To make matters worse, all of my friends had stomach issues the next day. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back again.
